Privacy Policy
This policy explains how SideQuest Sagas Publishing Automation, owned and operated by AbstraScapes LLC, uses information received through YouTube API Services. It is a private desktop tool for one owned YouTube channel, not a public or multi-user service.
Information the application accesses
After the channel operator grants OAuth permission, the application may:
- upload videos and read their processing, metadata, and visibility state;
- create or update titles, descriptions, tags, disclosures, and schedules;
- upload custom thumbnails and caption tracks;
- add videos to an operator-selected playlist; and
- post an operator-approved comment when that feature is enabled.
The application does not request audience analytics, advertising data, contacts, passwords, or access to another creator's channel.
How information is used
YouTube information is used only to carry out an operator-approved publishing workflow, verify that requested changes reached the correct video, prevent duplicate actions, and maintain local audit receipts. It is not used for advertising, profiling, surveillance, eligibility decisions, or training artificial-intelligence models.
Storage and security
- OAuth client credentials and the refresh token are stored in the operator's macOS Keychain.
- Short-lived access tokens remain in process memory and are not written to project files.
- Video identifiers, requested settings, hashes, and API receipts are stored only on the operator's local computer.
- The application has no hosted user database and does not transmit YouTube account data to AI providers.
Sharing and sale
AbstraScapes LLC does not sell, rent, trade, or disclose YouTube user data. Google receives requests necessary to provide YouTube API Services. No other party receives the operator's OAuth tokens or YouTube account data.
Retention, deletion, and revocation
Local workflow records are retained until the operator deletes the associated production case. OAuth credentials remain in Keychain until the operator removes them or revokes access. Revocation prevents further API access, and local records may be deleted from the application's case directory.
Google API Services User Data Policy
The application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Google Privacy Policy
YouTube API Services are provided by Google and are also governed by Google's privacy practices.
